Duties and responsibilities

Sales & KPI management for assigned store

  • Improving the performance of his store while real time monitoring the KPI’s.
  • Develop weekly and monthly action plans; prioritize activities for store.
  • Provide functional coaching and support to the store team, in order to achieve their KPI’s and advance results around talent, operations, merchandising, financial and customer aspects of the business.
  • Provide District Manager with real time performance insights, trends and business drivers.

Team development

  • Responsible for performance of the store team by overseeing the hiring, training and development on sales techniques, customer service, teamwork and G-Star DNA.
  • On time recruitment of store employees and onboard all new employees through G-Star platform.
  • Identify training needs for store staff and provide training solutions either via e-learning or by conducting on-site training (sales, service, product knowledge). Providing on-the-ground coaching to store staff.
  • Supervise and adjust the staff planning in store.
  • Ensure and drive a safe and inclusive environment & culture.
  • Drive and optimize team engagement.

Store operations

  • Ensure policies and procedures are executed, adhered to and upheld by all store staff.
  • Ensure all merchandise is replenished and store is clean and tidy all the times.
  • Make sure that visual merchandising standards and the execution of seasonal retail marketing campaigns are executed in line with G-Star’s store concept and requirements (including presentation of product, mannequins, windows and signage).

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience as a Store Manager
  • Solid understanding of retail, retail KPI’s, budgeting and forecasting and developing action plans to drive store performance
  • Apparel (denim)/fashion product knowledge
  • Industry: preferably Denim/Fashion or Luxury Goods; Beauty & Cosmetics
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
