JOB TITLE :General Manager

REPORTS TO :Director of Global Markets or Senior Director Operations, Europe and President of Phoenix France Infrastructure

LOCATION :Paris, France

DIRECT REPORTS : TBD

PURPOSE : Responsible for PTI corporate relationships in the market, support to all business groups in interactions with external parties when required and indirect management of in-country employees in other departments reporting to department managers in the corporate office.

FUNCTIONS :

  • Prepare and represent PTI in different corporate instances (boards, meetings, industry associations).
  • Own the development of the in-market strategy and co-ordinate with all functions to ensure the delivery of the strategy for the market.
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships both internally and externally on behalf of the market.
  • Provide support and market knowledge to different business groups active in the market in their day-to-day work and when specific arbitration are required
  • Own the in-market executive relationship with the anchor tenant.
  • Provide oversight to the anchor tenant responsibilities as part of the MSA agreement.
  • Build executive relationships with all customers to proactively avoid impact of churn.
  • Provide oversight to the re-location process to ensure cashflow is maintained and maximized.
  • Contribute to ensuring all local members are working towards the same goals and provide insight into corporate objectives.
  • Understand requirements for inorganic growth and participate to sourcing of opportunities (GLBO, Corp-Dev/M&A) through existing or new relationships.
  • Responsible for the quarterly business review process on behalf of the market, working cross-functionally with leads to give SMT team the market overview.
  • Facilitate SMT agendas for visits to market to ensure maximum value for the market from the visit.
  • Support corporate marketing for the in-market brand execution for PTI, internally and externally where relevant.
  • Responsible for local team member communications, enforcement of company policies and procedures and office administration, working jointly with department managers and Human Resources.
  • Be an ambassador for the PTI values in the market.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Position works in a standard office environment. Standing, sitting, and walking required daily. Job will involve mínimal international travel.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or other technical field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a Corporate Finance role
  • Past experience of General Manage or being accountable for a Business Unit / Support Unit
  • Exposure to operations of infrastructure assets or real estate
  • Experience in overseeing and managing a team with cross functional reporting
  • Good knowledge of the digital infrastructure landscape in Europe and France in particular
  • Understanding of high level investment processes (organic and inorganic)
  • Demonstrated mastery in continuous multi-task skills
  • Individual disciplined and organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in an environment of accelerated rhythm and under pressure
  • Effective in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team
