At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won’t find anywhere else. We are looking for an experienced subsea installation methods engineer who can join our multicultural team in Paris.

Within the Subsea Installation Department, you will be responsible for the installation engineering scope of a specific package/equipment on a Project, Study or Tender. You will be directly reporting to the Project/ Tender Lead Installation. Functionally, you will remain under the Subsea Installation Methods Discipline Manager responsibility.

Responsibilities :

  • Define and be accountable for the installation methodologies defined on the project/tender
  • Prepare and perform the required deliverables and activities as allocated by the Project Lead
  • Ensure the reporting of the Installation Engineering activities to your management
  • Ensure of the quality of the documentations and the respect of the TechnipFMC Standards in terms of QHSE
  • Interface with the other Subsea Disciplines (Engineering, Operations, QHSE, )
  • Participate in the consolidation & sharing of the engineering team expertise and know-how
  • Propose innovative methodologies to increase the competitivity of our offers
  • As required, support your Project Lead in supervising other installation packages or engineers

You are meant for this job if : To succeed in this position; you should have the following skills & experience:

  • Graduated with a Master of Engineering (ideally with specialization in Offshore Industry, Naval architecture) with a minimum of 4 years experience in an installation / operation role
  • Good knowledge of offshore installation
  • Good experience of the offshore operations, preferably in flexible, umbilical installations
  • Good communication skills, capacity to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to transmit your knowledge.
  • Mobility to support the operations during the execution phase according to the project schedule
  • Proficiency in English (spoken, written) is a must
