Client Executive

The Client Executive at Microsoft leads our most valued customers into the digital age. Embracing a challenger mindset, the successful Client Executive drives, orchestrates and closes opportunities with customers that produce transformative business outcomes.

We are looking for an individual managing the relationship with one of our leading Global Automotive customer, to support them in their global transformation and position Microsoft as their technology partner of choice to fuel it.

The Customer Engagement

  • Builds and maintains relationships with executives, business and technical decision makers at high levels of your customer's organization to establish alignment on mutual goals and trust in future interactions. Foster trust, brand growth and loyalty through multiple levels (e.g., managers, executives). Build relationships with partners for joint-selling, through joint go-to markets and shared initiatives.
  • Proactively develops a strong understanding of your customer's industry and priorities, identifies opportunities to drive optimizations and new digitalization solutions based on customer's strategies, and presents solutions/ideas based on customer insights.
  • Understands customer drivers of digital transformation, leads new opportunities, and orchestrates internal teams to accelerate the customer's digital transformation.

Account Management

  • Develops and oversees the execution of account plans for your customers to ensure Microsoft targets and customer business needs are met. Drives accountability to deliver on account plans among the extended virtual teams, internal industry experts and partners.
  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders on business planning to review and plan for your customers.
  • Anticipates potential problems and ways to mitigate risks. Determines prioritization of action based on customer needs, sales-generating importance, growth opportunities, and account risks.

Sales Excellence

  • Leads and orchestrates extended virtual teams and key stakeholders to expand relationship with decision makers and stakeholders of assigned accounts and deliver industry relevance. Leverages best-in-class sales and communication techniques and tools to meet customer needs and accelerate sales.
  • Educates your customer decision makers on Microsoft's value proposition aligned to customer's business objectives. Establishes the competitive advantage. Develops plans to offer solutions that satisfy customers' KPIs and align the right partner solution for customer industry needs.
  • Develops and presents value-proposition and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes.

Automotive and Mobility Industry Knowledge

  • Proactively builds and maintains a strong knowledge of Microsoft's product landscape, solutions, and strategy in the Automotive and Mobility Industry, as well as of the business priorities and potential threats the customers face. Demonstrates a strong understanding of the customers' business strategy and the direction of the industry.

Be a Sales Achiever - by understanding digital transformation drivers and customer priorities.

Be a Digital Transformation Driver - by understanding Automotive and Mobility market changes to drive industry-relevant solutions to customers and translating Microsoft solutions and ecosystem into business impact and outcomes.

Be a Leader - by building a coalition of support both inside Microsoft and with your customer and showing leadership among entire account team.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 5y+ Experience working in Automotive and Mobility industry (or related / relevant industry to Automotive and mobility), driving digital transformation, and/or relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
  • Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in Business, Technology, or related field Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in business consulting or consultative selling is desired
  • Fluent English
