Culture fuels our everyday work with a diverse group of 5300+ across 6 continents with global expertise in strategy, creative, design, content creation, eComm, production and print management.Position SummaryThe VP, Operations (within Graphics LOB) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing operational activities, with a strong focus on Quality, Service Level Compliance, Efficiency, Utilization, Profitability, Employee Engagement, Continuous Improvement and InnovationLocation: VP, Operations (Europe): Within Europe Hybrid work arrangementEssential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results. Lead the Operations team that includes key functions such as Production Artists, Pre-Press and QC.. Delivery quality goal of < 1% error rate on all Top80 accounts while maintaining on-time delivery and client satisfaction goals. Drive exceptional margins (meet/exceed budgeted targets) at the Site and Regional levels. Operationalize and maintain a Performance Driven Culture where: Operational KPI targets (Quality, SLA, Efficiency, Profitability, Employee Engagement and Customer Satisfaction) are met or exceeded, Scorecards are cascaded to all levels and accountability at all levels is defined and expected.. Be an active and committed partner to the SGS & Co Shared Service leaders and practitioners.Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements This position requires the following knowledge and skills. A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university, and more than 10 years of experience or equivalent work experience. Deep operations experience in a labour-intensive, global environment. Experience in Graphics preferred. Experience in lean/six sigma preferred. Demonstrated ability to excel at leading teams, developing talent, and working through others to consistently deliver budgeted annual, quarterly, and monthly financial and operational results.Competency Requirements .
