Principal PDA - Reservation Booking department

The TSR organization (Travel Shopping & Reservation) is the beating heart of many Amadeus products: it handles critical steps of the travel reservation, including shopping, pricing, booking, ticketing, and the overall PNR management. Within the TSR organization, our department Booking and Synchronization Management (BSM) covers the full fledge of features related to the booking of travels or ancillary services, be it online or offline, through EDIFACT or NDC. We take care of this whole matrix of processes, as well as all the corresponding representations in the PNR. With the travel industry rapidly changing, we are involved in key projects this year for Amadeus, both on travel agency business, like New Distribution Capability (NDC) standard, and on airline business, with projects for Star Alliance or NH, or the transformation to the Offer/Order model (NGA/Nevio). Transversally, we are well on our way for the migration to the Cloud, with 2 applications already activated in the Cloud since the beginning of the year, and 2 more coming in the next quarter. Continuous improvement is also part of our DNA, through SSI or other kinds of pro-active maintenance streams. We are involved in 4 different Agile Release Trains and are fully working in Matrix mode, with component team members being present in all trains to ensure the vision and the best practices are followed throughout the whole delivery chain. It is therefore the perfect moment to nominate a projects-oriented Principal PDA in the department, to help with the functional consistency of our components in this matrixial environment, demonstrating her/his expertise on BSM functional scope while proposing continuously improving ways of writing all sorts of documentations. She/he will also help with the facilitation of our BSM PDA community, as well as wider initiatives at Reservation level, fueled by her/his participation to the Amadeus PDA community.
