Technical Lead Cobol Developer:We are seeking a Technical and Functional Lead to be the primary technical and functional referent for our team. You will play a pivotal role in guiding your team on the application’s heritage and act as a key contact for cross-team discussions on impacts and developments. You’ll also ensure the management and progress of your team's backlog, helping shape the future of our IT landscape.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Collaboration: Be the go-to expert for your team and collaborate closely with other IT teams on cross-functional developments.Backlog & Development Oversight: Ensure the team's backlog items are up-to-date, prioritize anomaly and development requests, and manage capacity for new initiatives.Analysis & Configuration: Participate in requirement analysis and system configuration. Propose solutions that meet business needs while adhering to technical and functional standards.Development & Support: Guide the design, development, and deployment of software solutions, ensuring they align with the company’s IT architecture principles.Coordination & Monitoring: Oversee functional and technical actions, monitor progress, and ensure that all solutions are optimized for performance, security, and maintainability.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in the system, anticipating future needs through monitoring and adopting state-of-the-art technologies.What We're Looking For:Education: Bac +5 (Master's degree or equivalent)Experience: 5+ years in IT with expertise in functional and technical architecture, as well as software development, qualification, and deployment.Key Skills:Proficiency in Unix, SQL, Cobol, and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, Informix).Experience with Java/JEE, JBoss, Apache servers, and batch or real-time processing.Experience managing backlog and inter-application communications.Knowledge of the accounting industry is a plus.Familiarity with Agile practices is highly desirable.Personal Attributes: Autonomous, curious, with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
