Summary
We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional for the position of Agronomist. The primary role of the Agronomist is to ensure that the production practices used at Young Living corporate farms, partner farms, and throughout the Young Living supply chain are in accordance with the Young Living Seed to Seal Standard.
Essential Functions

- Ensure the realization of the Young Living mission statement, vision, values, and Seed to Seal standards at Young Living corporate farms, partner farms, and throughout the supply chain. 20%
- Conduct Seed to Seal Farm audits of corporate farms, partner farms, and supply chain (including potential farms and new botanicals) as assigned. 10%
- Support farm managers in upholding the Young Living Seed to Seal standards by being actively involved in operations, by helping to innovate creative solutions to organic farming challenges, develop best management practices, and implement natural & sustainable integrated pest management, crop production, and crop harvest practices. 25%
- Work with regional research departments and laboratories to ensure products meet Seed to Seal standards. 25%
- Study soil, water, plant, and essential oil analytical data and prescribe best management strategies with an integrative approach to develop biotechnology. 25%
- Conduct research, development and implementation of new plants, products, and procedures that produce essential oils and essential oil products of the highest quality. 5%

Work Environment
· Employee may work in an office setting. The individual must be able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
· Employee may work in warehouse or farm environment, needing to wear warm clothing and applicable OSHA safety gear.
· Will be exposed to harsh weather conditions in Summer and Winter.

· Employee is frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and may be required to talk and listen to employees and/customers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Frequent evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand, or with harvesting events.
Required Education and Experience
· BS in Agronomy, plant science, herbology, or related field preferred
· 3 - 5 years of agricultural production experience
· 3 - 5 years farm auditing experience
· Bilingual in English and French
Preferred Education and Experience
- MS in Agronomy, plant science, herbology, or related field preferred
- At least 5 years of agricultural production experience, with demonstrated experience in regenerative and organic agriculture and carbon sequestration.
- At least 5 years farm auditing experience
