Job Description : In this role, you will have responsibility for a network of Franchise hotels within the France region for Premium, Midscale & Economy Brands. With the Development and Operations department, you will be integral to driving the strategy of franchise regionally and across France to ensure the successful performance and development of the network. As France Regional VPO, you will deputise to the SVP Franchise Operations France to ensure the sub-team/country follows through on projects and objectives. 3 positions of Regional Franchise VPO France are available.Everyone will manage a team.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Responsible for the growth of Franchisee Fee Income by setting appropriate actions (preventive and corrective) in line with the country objectives & brand policies.

  • In collaboration with Finance, ensure Franchise Receivables is managed fully to include analysis, control, chasing and adhere within the terms of each HFA.

  • In collaboration with Legal, ensure all projects and contracts together with other is managed fully to legislation, compliance and protection of Accor in relation to the terms of each HFA.

  • Ensure the effective implementation of the franchise agreement, protecting the interests of Accor whilst respecting the needs of the Franchisees

  • Promote and demonstrate the expertise and the added value of belonging to the Accor group to the Franchisees

  • Ensure network consistency and the brand identity by monitoring the brand standards closely and working with operational colleagues

  • Support the Franchisees in developing a business strategy for their hotels. Contribute to the results for the Franchise network by:

  • guide the hotels in the Brand standards and policies

  • advise on the proper market positioning and pricing

  • foster the exchange of best practices between the hotels

  • Lead the franchisee from the start of the agreement, offer the best advice in the interest of both parties ensuring

  • the management of the Franchisee obligations

  • the respect of the brand identity and promise

  • Promote and ensure compliance of brand standards, values and quality policy, monitor and measure this by using different tools. Analyse the potential malfunctions, identify areas of improvement through corrective actions, with the Franchisee Hotel management

  • Advise and lead the franchisee in selecting training for its team, participate and represent the brand in the different training within the network

  • Promote Accor in terms of product and as a service provider to the Franchise network

  • Be attentive to development opportunities for Franchising Accor brands

  • Represents the company with Key Franchise Groups both internal expert working groups and externally (AFA, Chamber of Commerce etc).

  • Maintain awareness of the current market trends in general and in franchising to ensure that Accor is responsive to the changing needs and can maximise opportunities in the Franchising environment.

  • Liaise with all the HO departments in order to action the appropriate strategy for each hotel. Liaise with the market leaders in order to set up the right strategy for the franchisees within the market place.

  • Lead Partner/Owner Relationships.

  • Ownership of key portfolios and prominent partners.

  • In collaboration with the Integration Led, support integrations, churns and flips. This part requires organisation and capability to establish an action plan prior to and after the integration phase.

  • Align and lead actions with support teams/services to maximize revenue streams and generation of fees.

  • Liaise with each VP respectively in terms of coaching, guidance, focus on performance, qualitative and quantitative whilst respecting Accor strategy and values.
