The job : As our new Clinical Demand Specialist you will complement our marketing and sales organization by supporting promotional activities to generate and drive Key Opinion Leader (KOL) networking and engagement across different clinical specialties. Your main objective is to increase the demand for our clinical testing solutions focused on certain clinical specialties such as prenatal testing and oncology/urology. You will find and engage with clinical staff and influence the right prescribers to be advocates for our test menu. In addition, you will support the organization and execution of congresses, events, and related marketing initiatives and projects.

Through building and expanding a network with our target customers and KOLs, you will ensure long-term partnerships with our customers and actively contribute to the implementation of key commercial strategies and support the launch of new products in the market.

What will you do?

  • Drive and manage clinical networking in order to educate healthcare professionals on our testing solution
  • Test and optimize marketing tactics for customer acquisition and conversion rate optimization
  • Collaborate with the European and Global teams in order to secure the best operational deployment within the territory
  • Build key benefit driven solutions for market / customers thorough clinical value
  • Support the coordinaton of promotional activities within the territory
  • Organise clinical sessions and other educational events
  • Take part of congresses and other large events
  • Work closely with the sales Teams to continuously build strong customer relationships / satisfaction, maintain and expand current business, and develop new business opportunities

Who we are looking for :

  • Degree in a Life Science (Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales or commercial position within Pharmaceutical / IVD industry - ideally someone with experience visiting clinicians (such as doctors, urologists, oncologists, midwives etc.) to sell pharmaceutical or medical products
  • Fluent in French & advanced English (both essential); Dutch would be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • Valid driving licence
  • Willing and able to travel up to 75% of working time, including regular overnight stays. For training or special calls, international travel including all EMEA territory and the US is required
