Design Authority Leader (F/H)

Description Capgemini is seeking a senior director level executive to join its internal global IT organization as a Senior Design Authority leader within its Enterprise Architecture team. This is a key leadership role reporting to our Head of Enterprise Architecture. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide leadership, oversight, and guidance for the design and architecture of complex systems, products, or projects. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring that the design and architecture meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and efficiency. This position involves strategic planning, technical leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Key Responsabilities - Design Leadership: Provide expert guidance and leadership in the design and architecture of complex systems, products, or projects. - Strategic Planning: Develop and implement design strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. - Technical Expertise: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to make informed design decisions. Share knowledge and best practices with the team. - Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of around 20+ design and architecture professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. - Risk Management: Identify and mitigate design-related risks and challenges to ensure successful project outcomes. - Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce design standards, best practices, and quality control processes to maintain high-quality deliverables. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure that design and architecture align with project goals. - Budget and Resource Management: Manage design-related budgets and allocate resources efficiently. - Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of design and architectural decisions, plans, and processes. - Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that designs adhere to industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
