We belong to the Digital Transformation Services organization of Amadeus Chief Information Officer (CIO). The services provided by the Digital Workplace Services (DWS) organization are mainly focusing on collaboration, productivity, security and cloud. Within DWS, the Programs and Project Management team (PPM) provides transversal services to the DWS teams, such as: Projects and programs team: project and program management of DWS initiatives
Digital Management Office (DMO) team: DWS budget governance and financials follow up, Portfolio Management, OKR governance and Change and Communications service to projects and programs
Security coordination for DWS teams.
Main responsibilities
As a
Manager, Programs and Projects
– Digital Workplace Services (DWS), you will lead and support a team of dedicated professional managing complex programs and projects in the scope of the DWS organization. Your role will involve team management, including objectives setting, supporting team members’ career growth, team’s capacity management, etc. You may sometime also be requested to manage an initiative for the organization yourself. You will also work in close contact with other DWS teams, to respond to their needs for our services (review priorities, capacity, plan and follow on execution). Lead the strategic planning and execution of the various projects and programs delivered by the team ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
Drive a team of experienced project and program managers in order to reach the DWS
objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security, Network, Cloud, Collaboration, Finance teams
Define and implement best practices and standards for project and program management
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to leverage their expertise and resources in support of projects and programs deliveries
Prioritize projects according to the business value brought and the impact on the resources involved
Drive program management activities for specific initiatives, if/when required
In 2024, participation in, and contribution to, the Agile transformation program in our organization.
As a people manager, you will
Assist, guide and motivate team members in their assigned functions
Define and follow-up objectives for individuals in line with organizational goals
Manage administrative activities and procedures related to the area/department
Ensure timely and appropriate communication to team members regarding organizational information
Conduct annual appraisal interviews, provide input for salary reviews
Follow development of the team members based on continuous assessment of needs
Interview and select candidates for the team
Be accountable for the performance and results of the project and program management team within the CIO office or towards other
organizations/stakeholders
Report on team activities/plans and risks to senior management
Develop plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
Suggest alternatives / improvements / new techniques in processes, flows, operational models, plans and automations
Take decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plans.

Strong experience and knowledge of Program and project management, so that he/she can support and help the team members if/when required. Experience with digital projects and/or Agile project management is a plus. Proven team management skills: emotional intelligence, career management, coaching, supporting.
