Reporting to the Head of Engineering/Water Treatment Department, you will research, test, evaluate, and propose innovations in water-related processes (treatment, analysis, etc.) or new products to meet market needs and optimize our performance in terms of Quality, Cost, Time, Safety, and Environment.

As a true Global Expert in water analysis and treatment processes for all our plants (travel +/- 20%, mostly in Europe), you will:

  • Evaluate the performance of our water analysis and treatment processes, compare and identify possible improvements.
  • Conduct documentary, technological, regulatory, and competitive research on water treatment and analysis.
  • Propose innovation, renovation, and optimization programs for processes, in collaboration with various departments within our Expertise Center and plants.
  • Test new processes, pilot trials, and recommend equipment and installations that best meet our needs.
  • Develop experimental protocols: test objectives and scenarios, tools, resources, trial program schedule, in coordination with dedicated teams.
  • Validate functional and technical specifications for the industrialization phase.
  • Prepare test reports and audits (in English exclusively).
  • Ensure safety and compliance of innovations and existing equipment in accordance with regulations and standards.
  • Ensure the intellectual protection of newly developed technologies.
  • Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders of projects and maintain open and clear communication.
  • Manage your budgets: construction, justification, request, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with research domain experts: biologists, chemists, laboratories, suppliers, etc.
  • Provide support and expertise to all our plants (including during contaminations) and disseminate best practices.

You hold a higher education degree (Master's degree in water professions, process engineering, etc.) and have a minimum of 8 years' experience in water treatment in a similar position. Fluency in English is required.

With excellent interpersonal and writing skills, you can effectively work with cross-functional and multicultural teams. As a proactive and well-organized individual, you can handle complex assignments. You should also be willing to travel.
